What To Expect:
Attending LEAD Sessions at StaffCon
LEAD Pre-conference Session starts earlier in the day at StaffCon and you will be expected to attend along with possible specific sessions during StaffCon. Exact date and time will be published when StaffCon dates and schedule are made available.
Attend LEAD Cohort Retreat
The retreat is towards the end of the program on April 26th-27th, 2026 in Chicago. All travel, accomodations, food and programming are covered for participants.
Attending LEAD Live (on Zoom) sessions monthly:

The Online Course
Your time is valuable, and we respect that. You can expect to dedicate at least one hour a week to LEAD readings/assignments outside of the monthly live sessions.
Complete your reading and assignments in a timely fashion:
Each live session introduces a new unit, which includes an overview and description, 3-4 sections with short videos and 1-2 readings (and additional optional readings), one leadership assignment to complete, a short journal entry, and an exit ticket.
PROFESSIONAL FLEXIBILITY & COMPLETION REQUIREMENT
We understand work gets busier at different times of the year, and of course, life also happens. So, flexibility is built in so you can manage your personal and professional time appropriately.
You will have at least 30 days to complete the assignments on time, and you will have flexibility as things come up to turn in work past the deadline with an additional 30 days allowed before the assignment cut off.
To complete the program and earn a certificate of completion, you need to complete 80% of the work and attend 80% of the live sessions. All work is expected to be completed 30 days after the program ends and no later than August 31st, 2026.
